Jurriën Timber is Gold Soccer Awards' Best Right-Back/Right Wing-Back of 2026, recognised for an outstanding season with Arsenal.

A defender with the technical ability of a midfielder and the athleticism of a winger, Timber has become one of the most complete full-backs in European football.

During the 2025/26 season, Timber played a crucial role in Arsenal's Premier League title success. His defensive intelligence, strength in one-on-one situations, ability to move into midfield and contribution going forward made him indispensable. Recording three goals and five assists in the league, he demonstrated that modern full-backs must do far more than simply defend.

Achraf Hakimi remains an exceptional attacking full-back, combining explosive pace with Champions League-winning experience at PSG. Tottenham's Pedro Porro also deserves recognition for his attacking ambition, crossing ability and creativity. Both are outstanding players, but Timber's all-round contribution earns him the award.
