Mohamed Salah

Few players have left a mark on a football club quite like Mohamed Salah. His departure from Liverpool at the end of the 2025/26 season brought an extraordinary nine-year chapter at Anfield to a close.

Arriving from Roma in 2017, the Egyptian King became one of the greatest players in the club's history, scoring 257 goals in 442 appearances and helping Liverpool win two Premier League titles, the Champions League and a host of other major honours. His goals, consistency, professionalism and unforgettable moments made him an icon not only at Liverpool but across world football. Although he continues his playing career elsewhere, his farewell from Anfield marks the end of an era. This award recognises a truly exceptional Liverpool legend.

Finalists: Kevin De Bruyne and Dani Carvajal

Kevin De Bruyne brought his remarkable ten-year Manchester City career to an end in 2025, leaving as one of the greatest midfielders in Premier League history.

Dani Carvajal departed Real Madrid in 2026 after 23 years at the club, six European Cups and 27 trophies. Two outstanding careers worthy of recognition.
